Integration courses – Initial experience and knowledge from a survey of participants ,
Working Paper 5/2006 presents the results of a questionnaire among integration course participants which was carried out in 2005 in the Federal Office's migration and integration research. The background to the study is the effort to coordinate the Federal Office’s integration courses better in order to cater for the needs and wishes of the participants. Initial experience with the integration course, an evaluation of the current course with regard to integration and requests for special course content or additional offerings were ascertained. The results provide information on the particularities of specific target groups and serve to optimise the course concept, particularly taking female and young participants into account.
