EMN Annual Report on Migration and Asylum 2020 ,
The "EMN Annual Report on Migration and Asylum 2020" describes important developments in asylum, migration and integration policy and legislation in 24 EU Member States and Norway as well as at EU level in 2020. In addition, important statistical information is included to provide a European comparison. The report is based on the results of 25 national policy reports.
The "Annual Report on Migration and Asylum 2020" offers a detailed overview of the following topics:
- legal migration and mobility,
- international protection and asylum,
- unaccompanied minors and other vulnerable groups,
- integration,
- citizenship and statelessness,
- borders, visa and Schengen,
- irregular migration and migrant smuggling,
- trafficking in human beings,
- return and readmission,
- migration and development.
The Annual Report provides a detailed presentation of comparative results at EU level. A key theme of the Policy Report 2020 is the transformation of migration, asylum and integration policies in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The EMN Inform provides a shortened version, whilst the EMN Flash briefly highlights individual key developments on one page. The Statistical Annex substantiates the reports with comparative figures.
