The EMN Synthesis Report: The EMN's Annual Report on Migration and Asylum 2018 ,
The "EMN Annual Report on Migration and Asylum 2018" describes central developments in asylum, migration and integration policy and legislation in the EU Member States and at EU level in 2018. In addition, important statistical information is prepared in a European comparison. The report is based on the results of 27 national EMN policy reports.
The "Annual Report on Migration and Asylum 2018" offers a detailed overview of the following topics:
- legal migration and mobility,
- international protection and asylum,
- unaccompanied minors and other vulnerable groups,
- integration and non-discrimination,
- citizenship and statelessness,
- irregular migration, migrant smuggling, border control and visa policy,
- trafficking in human beings, and
- returns.
The Annual Report provides a detailed presentation of comparative results at EU level. The EMN Inform provides a shortened version, whilst the EMN Flash briefly highlights individual key results on one page. The comparative reports are available in English only. The Statistical Annex substantiates the reports with comparative figures. The national results can be read in the "Migration, Integration, Asylum" Policy Report 2018, and can be downloaded in English and German.
