In order to provide an overview of recent political and legal developments in the Member States on the issues of migration, integration and asylum, the National Contact Points each compile an annual National Policy Report. The report covers transposition of EU law at national level, in addition to describing the main developments in aforementioned areas.

The most important findings of these National Policy Reports are synthesised by the European Commission with the help of an external service provider in the annual EMN report on migration and asylum. In addition, the EMN member states produce an annual country factsheet in which the most important developments of the year in the area of migration and asylum are briefly summarised.
