Promoting migrants' success in education: the effects of family-focused projects ,
The working paper "Promoting migrants' success in education: the effects of family-focused projects" concentrates on the issue of promoting the educational success of children with a migrant background by working in conjunction with parents.
The first part of the paper describes projects that specifically focus on the target group of parents with a migrant background. Pre-school as well as extra-curricular measures are presented. In the second part of the working paper the effects of the measures are evaluated. Here, findings from existing evaluations and meta-evaluations are compiled and discussed.
