EMN Synthesis Report: Beneficiaries of international protection travelling to and contacting authorities of their country of origin ,
The Synthesis Report is the main comparative report on all 26 participating countries in this study. The Inform again provides a concise overview on the findings of the Synthesis Report while the EMN Flash presents the findings in a compact and one page form. The German results can be found in the EMN study "Travels of beneficiaries of protection travelling to their country of origin: Authorization, Policies and Revocation Procedure in Germany".
Furthermore, an infographic produced for the German study gives an overview of the single phases from the departure and reentry, the individual reasons for the travel to the country of origin, the procedures to be followed if authorities become aware of such a travel, the revocation procedure for the protection status, the obligations of the beneficiary of protection to cooperate and the possible consequences on the residence status in the event of revocation of the protection status. The infographic itself may be downloaded separately (see Download section) and may be found on pages 40/41 of the German EMN study.
Furthermore, EMN Belgium produced an animated video on the key findings of the Synthesis Report. It provides an overview of recent trends and challenges in 24 Member States, Norway and Switzerland with regard to beneficiaries of international protection travelling to and contacting authorities of their country of origin. The video can be found online in an English, French and Dutch version.
